Description:
On July 17, 2021, a motorist entered the active helibase area of Shoshone County Airport in Smelterville, Idaho. The man acted erratically, threatening helibase personnel with a firearm, then shot several bullets into the air and ground. No one was injured and the man was apprehended by law enforcement officers.
