Description:
A medical emergency on the Devil's Gulch Fire necessitated the use of the local rappel helicopter and an air ambulance to get the patient to a nearby medical clinic. Due to prior training for these types of Incident within Incidents, those involved including the Dispatch Center, the helicopter manager, the pilot, the Unit Aviation Officer and the Forest Duty officer communicated quickly and efficiently to complete the medevac.
