On Sunday, September 20, 2026, during aviation operations on the Dome Fire, a Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma helicopter working under contract to the US Forest Service (Payette National Forest) was involved in an aviation mishap resulting in the loss of both pilots, Ryan Cutter and Greg King.
