Description:
On October 21, 2007, a CAL FIRE engine company was entrapped while engaged in structure protection operations on the Harris Fire. One civilian was injured and another died at the accident scene. Two CAL FIRE firefighters were critically burned and the other two firefighters were seriously burned as they attempted to evacuate the civilians. All firefighters and the one surviving civilian were air lifted to the University of California, San Diego Burn Center for treatment.
