  • Description:

    On May 13, 2026, at approximately 0500 hours, a CAL FIRE Bulldozer (D1) was assigned to the Heavy Fire Equipment Operator (HFEO) Academy, working in the area of Mountain Ranch, California. During nighttime operations training, D1 was involved in a rollover and sustained damage. The operator self-extricated and was transported to Kaiser South Sacramento hospital with minor injuries.
