Description:
Tonto National Forest: An FS employee on an R5 IHC was struck on top of the helmet with an approximately 8” diameter branch while swamping during chainsaw operations. FS EMTs assessed the crewmember and they were transported to the hospital by agency vehicle. X-Rays were taken and the crewmember was released with no restrictions.
