Italian Fire Firefighters Struck by Water Drop 2024

Two engine crewmembers were struck by a Type 1 Helicopter water drop while performing fire suppression duties on the Italian Fire on the Sierra National Forest. Initially, no injuries were reported. However, over the next few days, the two engine crewmembers had complaints of sore necks and one had numbness and tingling in their arm.
