  • Description:

    Rappelers were deployed to initial attack the Mud Lick Fire on the Salmon-Challis National Forest in Idaho. Fire behavior increased rapidly necessitating fire crew evacuations. All personnel were able to evacuate but some gear was not able to be backhauled and was destroyed by fire the day after initial attack began.
