Description:
On June 9th at 1550 hours, Helitack reports a smoke in the Pack Creek area near a subdivision near Moab, Utah. One helicopter, two BLM engines (Eng1 and Eng2) are immediately dispatched and local VFD resources and a an ICT3 are ordered. During initial attack, spots are detected and fought, and strong winds cause a pulse of heat that leads to the IC withdrawing resources to structure protection. After several hours, Engines 1 and 2 are released. The following day, burn damage is discovered on Eng1.
