Rocky Mountain Area Fire Cache, Lakewood Colorado, 2024
After receiving a disturbing phone call while at work, a Rocky Mountain Area Fire Cache employee urgently called over a couple of close coworkers and expressed the need for help and support. While they were with her, she lost consciousness. They were able to guide her safely into a chair before she passed out, making sure she didn’t fall.
An ambulance was called by an employee with an EMT and firefighting background. Their training had taught them that advanced medical care should be requested whenever there is a loss of consciousness.Medical Emergency, Equipment, RLS
