Description:
After stopping for a break during travel home from a fire assignment, the driver asked a visiting crewmember to be their backer. The driver had noted the adjacent bollards (short posts to divert traffic) before selecting the parking site. During backing, there was a miscommunication of distance, due to which the driver accelerated and struck a bollard.
