Description:
On September 2, 2025, a smokejumper experienced an undesirably hard impact with the ground upon landing. The firefighter's injuries were deemed a Green Medical and the decision was made to transport the smokejumper via government vehicle to a hospital near their place of residence. Upon medical examination, the injured firefighter was diagnosed with bone fractures in both feet.
