Description:
On August 31, 2025, at approximately 1815 hours, while departing the Goose Fire, the driver was operating the assigned 2023 RAM 2500 when they attempted to avoid a pothole and ran over an object/stick that punctured its fuel tank. Once the leak was discovered, the driver shut off the vehicle and all occupants exited. A temporary fix using earplugs, towels and tape halted the leak until the tank could be emptied with a hand pump.
