At approximately 2250 hours on Thursday, November 28, 2024, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) Fire Planner Brian Wolgamott died following a two-year battle with cancer. The U.S. Department of Labor Office of Workers’ Compensation Program deemed Mr. Wolgamott’s cancer to be proximately caused by employment in federal fire protection activities under the Federal
