  • Description:

    On the 416 Fire on the San Juan National Forest, an Interagency Hotshot Crew member pushed over by hand a four inch-diameter tree. The top four feet of the tree fell out, striking the crewmember in the back, resulting in cuts and bruises. The patient was treated by Forest Service EMTs on scene then transported to Durango Hospital. The patient received seven stitches and was released back to the incident to full duty.
