    A hand crew member assigned to the Aggey Creek Fire, Alaska, was injured while swamping for a sawyer when the saw made contact with the front of the shin. The individual was transported via air to a hospital and admitted for the night. An orthopedic doctor examined the injury and provided further care, and the individual was released on 6/18 to be non-weight bearing for at least a few weeks.
