  • Description:

    On April 4, 2005, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways Fire Management Staff conducted a 265-­acre prescribed fire at Alley Spring, located six miles west of the town of Eminence. During this project, the fire  escaped firelines and burned approximately 130 acres of mostly Missouri Department of Conservation lands. Three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration. An ATV was also destroyed by fire.
