Angeles NF Initial Attack Burn Injuries 2021

Firefighters sustained minor burn injuries during initial attack of a fire in Los Angeles County, California, when a firewhirl ran through the flank as the initial attack engine was establishing an anchor. The firefighters were treated and released. A joint review of this incident is being coordinated with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Angeles National Forest.
