Antelope Fire Chainsaw Cut 2021

On the Antelope Fire on the Klamath National Forest, California, an Interagency Hotshot Crew crewmember sustained a chainsaw cut to the elbow and thigh. Initial care was provided by the crew EMT, with further evaluation by a Medic (Green injury). Initially, the patient was not transported to a medical care facility. The IHC transported the firefighter to medical care the following day without IMT involvement.
