  • Description:

    On July 24, 2012 at approximately 0800, a Division Supervisor on the Ash Creek Fire rolled an ATV while scouting the fireline. The firefighter was traveling up a dozer line when the ATV rolled backward, flipping over the top of the operator. Injuries included broken bones and bruises. Other firefighters on the Division assisted with evaluating, treating and transporting the injured firefighter to the local hospital. The firefighter spent one night in the hospital and was transported back home upon release.
