Description:
Ernest "Ernie" Covington, a foreman for the California Department of Forestry (now CAL FIRE) suffered a medical emergency while supervising firefighters on the Atlas Peak Fire, Napa County. Crewmembers onscene attempted to revive Covington as they waited for a doctor and ambulance on the side of the road.
