    August 26, 2010, Salmon‐Challis National Forest
    While walking through the area to resume work following a break, a firefighter was struck by a 3” diameter leaning snag. The injured firefighter was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital following an evaluation by line paramedics. The injured firefighter was subsequently released for “light duty” work by the hospital with a diagnosis of a mild concussion.
