Description:
A hand crew member assigned to the Bear Trap Fire, Cibola National Forest, New Mexico, suffered a ground fall on an outstretched arm/hand, resulting in a finger fracture. An EMT assessed the patient, who was transported to a medical care facility via agency vehicle. The patient was assessed, treated and released that same day, and received a referral to a hand specialist.
