Description:
A member of an Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC) had a thumb crushed between two logs while assigned to the Bedrock Fire, Willamette National Forest, Oregon. USFS EMTs, along with a Rapid Extraction Module (REM) provided medical aid. The crewmember was taken to the hospital, evaluated (lacerations and a fracture) and released with a follow-up appointment scheduled.
