Description:
During a Work Capacity Test on Big Cypress National Preserve, an employee was afflicted with rhabdomyolysis. It was the injured employee’s first attempt at an arduous level Pack Test. Although experiencing severe pain in his shins by the first ¼ mile, the injured employee elected to complete the course. After the pain in his shins intensified over the next 30–45 minutes, the injured employee accepted transportation to a local hospital which was approximately 40 minutes away.
