Description:
A heli-rappeller experienced a rapid descent and hard landing during rappel operations on the Blue 2 Fire. A crew EMT evaluated the injury on-scene, and an agency T3 helicopter transported the injured FF as a “Green” medical. The injured rappeller was then transported by ground ambulance to the hospital, diagnosed and released with a follow-up appointment needed.
