  • Description:

    White River National Forest: A Type 2 crewmember on the Buffalo Fire sustained a minor burn to the right calf while performing direct attack. The crewmember did not immediately report the injury. He wrapped it with an ace bandage and continued working. As he came off the hill that night he was treated by one of the medic units from an adjacent fire and was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released to light duty.
