Campbell Fatality 2014

Firefighter Jerry Campbell and the members of his wildland fire fighting team were activated for a response to a wildland incident at 2302 hours on February 28, 2014. Firefighter Campbell reported to his facility and was making preparations for response. Firefighter Campbell reported feeling unwell to his supervisor. EMS responders were called and found that Firefighter Campbell was suffering a heart attack. He was transported to a hospital where he died as a result of his illness. He was pronounced dead at 0145 hours on March 1, 2014.
