Description:
Ventura County Fire Engineer Ryan Osler died from injuries sustained in a fire apparatus crash while negotiating a traffic circle enroute to the Canyon Fire on Vandenburg Air Force Base. According to media reports, the water tender truck was loaded with 2,000 gallons of water and struck a curb in the roundabout then overturned. Two Firefighters were in the vehicle when it crashed. The passenger, Engineer Osler, was killed. The driver suffered minor injuries.
