    C. Lewis, who had recently come to Montana to assist the U.S. Forest Service in suppressing forest fires died suddenly on the Cold Creek Fire near St. Regis on the Lolo National Forest. Lewis had been working on this fire for a few days when he suffered an apparent heart attack while conversing with the crew foreman. Lewis' full name or any other information regarding his death is not readily available.
