  • Description:

    An Engine Crewmember working on a training fire slipped, fell and suffered a fractured hip. The Firefighter complained of extreme hip pain to a U.S. Forest Service EMT. The EMT began immobilization and two additional cooperator Medics assisted in hiking the Firefighter via backboard to a road and the waiting ALS ambulance. The ambulance took the Firefighter to a hospital where the Firefighter was admitted.
