Creek Fire South Zone Ash Pit Burn Injury 2020

While working in an ash pit on the Creek Fire’s South Zone on the Sierra National Forest, an Interagency Hotshot Crew member experienced partial thickness burns to both feet. The patient was initially treated by a Line Medic, then transported via horseback and helicopter to a hospital. The patient’s current status has not been provided.
