Description:
On August 17, 2024, at approximately 1820 hours, a CAL FIRE Bulldozer was assigned to a vegetation fire east of Cambria in San Luis Obispo County, California. While working in Division Whiskey, the bulldozer was involved in a rollover and sustained major damage. The Heavy Fire Equipment Operator (HFEO) self-extricated and was transported to Twin Cities Community Hospital with minor injuries. The HFEO was released to full duty after an evaluation.
