    California: A U.S. Forest Service Contract Crew was en-route to the Delta Fire on Interstate 5 between Corning, CA and Red Bluff, CA when they experienced a reported tire failure on one of the crew carrier vehicles which resulted in a vehicle accident. Injured individuals were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Red Bluff. Five injuries were confirmed, including bruises, cuts, and scrapes. All were released from the hospital. The contract company owner tied-in with folks at the hospital and later checked on the entire crew, confirming their individual statuses. A thorough debriefing and pulse check with the crew was conducted. They are currently back on the Delta Fire with replacements for the folks who were injured.
