  • Description:

    Ashley National Forest: A Wildland Fire Module crewperson working on the Dollar Ridge Fire fell while climbing a fence and complained of significant pain. The firefighter was assessed by Forest Service EMTs, stabilized and flown by air ambulance to a local hospital. The patient was diagnosed with a dislocated hip and acetabular fracture. Surgery was successful and the firefighter was released two days later.
