Elko BLM Engine 1949 Rollover 2006

On August 14, 2006 at approximately 1915 hours, while traveling between two initial attack fires approximately 30 miles northwest of Wells, Nevada, a Bureau of Land Management heavy fire engine left the graveled roadway and rolled over. All five firefighters in the engine were transported to Northern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada. Four were treated for minor injuries and released. The fifth firefighter received treatment for a broken arm.
