Ellinger VFD Fatality 2018

Larry Marusik, a firefighter with the Ellinger (Texas) Volunteer Fire Department, was burned during firefighting operations on a large grass fire on March 10, 2018. Firefighter Marusik was transported from the scene to an Army Medical Center via air ambulance. On March 23, he passed away at the Brooke Army Medical Center from the injuries he sustained on the grass fire.
