Description:
On June 24, 2016, two CAL FIRE dozers were assigned to Division Echo of the Erskine Fire in Kern County. At approximately 1445 hours, while parked on a paved road, one dozer transport was totally destroyed while the other sustained moderate fire damage. The operators of the dozers were constructing fireline approximately two miles away when the incident occurred. There were no injuries associated with the incident.
