Description:
On April 13th 2015 at approximately 2005 hours, a firefighter from the BLM Canyon Country District suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns around the entire circumference of his calves and a small burn on his left wrist when he fell into a stump hole on the Farm Fire near the town of Green River, Utah. The accident occurred at dusk and the area the firefighter was working in was covered in white ash and had burned very intensely. The injured firefighter was wearing all of his required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
