Fort Huachuca Air Tanker Base Insect Sting 2023

  • Description:

    An employee was stung by a bee at around 16:30 at the Fort Huachuca Air Tanker base, Coronado National Forest. Employee sought evaluation by a Forest Service EMT, and local FD medics were called. Based on vitals and patient history, the decision to transport the employee to the local hospital was made. Hospital treated him with epinephrine and prednisone. He was released later that night around 19:00.
