Description:
A motor bus of 20 firefighters en route to the French Creek Fire from Orofino, Idaho, went off the road on a steep slope above Orogrande Creek. Three firefighters were injured in the accident, and J. Kane of Minneapolis was killed. His full name is currently unknown.
