Description:
On Thursday October 28, 2010, the Greer Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Prescribed Fire was ignited north of Greer and west of Springerville, Arizona. Multiple units (Units 2, 3, and 4) within the Greer WUI burn plan were implemented over the next several weeks. Prescribed fire activities to treat Unit 4 began on November 2 and ceased the afternoon of November 20 when the Greer WUI Prescribed Fire was declared an escape.
