Hirz Fire Hit by Rock 2018

On the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, a Sequoia NF engine crew member was hit by a rock/boulder dislodged from a dozer operation above the firefighter. The patient was stabilized by Forest Service EMTs and then transported via ground ambulance to the hospital. At the time of this report, the patient was believed to have non-serious injuries.
