    An Rx Module was prepping the 147-acre Harding Flats Prescribed Fire unit, Hoosier National Forest, Indiana. At approximately 1330 hours, one of the FAL2 qualified personnel was attempting to fall a hung up, split-top ash snag within falling distance of the holding line. During felling operations, the split-top broke and fell toward the sawyer, hitting them while they attempted escape. The sawyer sustained a leg fracture.
