  • Description:

    While mopping up, the firefighter was using a backpack blower to improve some fireline when the backpack blower caught on fire, and burned the firefighter. The firefighter was able to ditch the backpack blower, however not before receiving several burns. Firefighter was treated at the hospital for several minor burns, and a moderate burn under one arm. The firefighter was released with a referral to a burn center when they arrive home.
