    Gay Lewis, 30, a firefighter living in Klamath Falls, Oregon, was struck by a falling tree on the Jenny Creek Fire, west of Klamath Falls, on July 9. We was taken to Klamath Falls for treatment, but subsequently passed away on July 13 from unspecified injuries. The fire was alternately reported as being on Green Springs Mountain, closer to Ashland.
