  • Description:

    During a conifer encroachment thinning project, a log rolled down a steep incline and impacted a crewmember. Following the accident, patient care was initiated immediately by an on-site emergency medical technician. The patient was traversed up to the top of the project area by crewmembers. The patient was then transported to an ambulance via an agency vehicle. The ambulance completed the patient transport to Barrett Memorial Hospital in Dillon, Montana. The injured employee was released from the hospital later that day.
