Description:
Andrew Erickson, one of a group of firefighters who fought a fire east of Eureka, California, for a number of days, was struck by a tree limb and killed. Erickson was reportedly on the line for multiple days and had laid down to sleep at the base of a large tree. A limb from the tree fell while he was asleep, killing him.
