    Left-Hand Fire, Washington - July 27, 2019

    A Division Supervisor from the Fremont-Winema National Forest was in a vehicle on the Left-Hand Fire near the Wenatchee National Forest when a cottonwood tree fell on the vehicle. The Firefighter had to be extricated. This medical incident was initially reported as condition “Green”. Later, when the Firefighter complained of back pain and dizziness, the condition was updated to “Yellow”. The Firefighter was taken to a hospital in Yakima, Wash. and admitted. He was released later that day or evening.
