    Lennox RX is a large (6,566 acres) unit of mixed pine/hardwood forest over rocky mountainous ridges in the Ouachita National Forest in Eastern Oklahoma. Most of the day, the holding groups reported spots but could be handled by resources on scene but inevitably stretched resources thin. One of the spots was below a resident and wasn’t realized until it was well established. Resources responded and extinguished the spot at 8 acres. There was minimal timber damage to the private property but a small utility trailer was damaged. Two engines responded and were able to extinguish the spot before it reached the home.
